The plumber has been here, completed his work and gone home. The yard man and his foreign workers never showed up. Two low bids with 50% completion. Should i ever entertain the idea of even seeking a lower bid ever again? I dont know. It all depends on how long the toilet flushes without backing up, i reckon. alas. jk

I would suggest investing in a high quality plunger, or possibly using the neighbor's toilet next time someone is "feeling the urge".

Also, I would suggest contacting the local phone company and seeing if they have any recent copies of a phone book lying around.

Next time you need something done, open up the phonebook and use a company that has a nice ad in the phone book. ou could call the top 2 or 3 advertisements and go off of those bids.

In general, I would not call numbers from bathroom stalls, or mailboxes.

Just figured I would delete the comment a couple of times to make it look like more people are commenting.

Actually, I had to go back and edit my post, but they won't let you just edit a comment, so I had to delete and try again.

50% is close to passing in some modern class rooms so this plumber is probably quite proud of his class rank. Now, Rodney and the IAs are quite another story.

What did you think when you saw so many comments on this short of a post?

Kudos to Matt - I definetly tuned in for the 7 comments - and was eager to see 7 horrified people commenting on the low bidders of the world.

I just wanted to learn more of this writer who was able to garner 8 comments from such a small posting. Brilliance! I tell you "brilliance" is in our midst. I just wanted to be number 9. What a privilege for me! Man! I can only dream of such popularity. Manony Mouse
